Never wanted to move Stamkos but an offer came today which seems it may be too hard to let slip.
My Stamkos, Sam Gagner and Wolski for his Marleau Subban and all his rookies which include: Tarasenko Vladimir (stl) Couturier Sean (phi) Leblanc Louis (mtl) Kassian Zach (van)
Kristo Danny (mtl) Tomas Hertl (sj) Mark Jankowski (cal) Martin Frk (det) Ty Rattie (stl)

Now I'm in contention and need Stamkos but Marleau is a good start. And I know for a FACT That I can acquire James Neal for Tarasenko and Subban.
That leaves me all the other prospects in which I think I can package all of them to acquire Eberle, Kopitar or Sharp.
What are your thoughts? I really need help on this one. I hate trading 1 top player for smaller unproven ones but with Marleau Neal and let's Sharp is it worth it?
hang on to stammer...regardless of your opinion on the possible return it seems to me like you're making a trade just to make a trade and not addressing any of your needs (your team has very few needs btw). I understand that the temptation of a boatload of prospects is tough to overcome but keep in mind stamkos turns 23 next month.

That offer is a really good decoy, but it doesn't make your team any better. Unless you're doing a full rebuild, the trade makes no sense and I really doubt that you can get proven players like Eberle, Kopitar, or Sharp with the left over prospects (assuming you can hold unlimited prospects without having to drop them from roster).
My golden rule is: Stamkos is untradeable in any format

Gotcha. I read that wrong. so it would be Marleau and Neal for Stamkos. As much as I love Neal I would hold on to Stamkos. The rest of the prospects are not that great coming over and you might have a hard time trading them for something good.

I don't trust Marleau or the Sharks. Plus with Subban, who the hell knows what's really going on. He's temperamental on and off the ice. Great talent sure, but it's too much of a risk with Stamkos right now.
