As per our rules I want minor league eligibility to include the following:
They can be sent down only if actual NHL team sends them down
They can be in the minors if they - Forwards and def have 100 NHL GP or less. Goalies 50 or less.
Heres what i have setup what should i be doing exactly to get these results.
Prevent illegal rosters: Always
Minor League players count toward roster limitation rules (I left blank)
Use Minor League Eligibility Options I Checked Off
Add Condition I took Real Life Status(There is also Age & GP)
Greater than or equal (>=) Less than or equal (<=) Career includes current season
Condition Must Meet Make Eligible Make Ineligible
Players have a status of
Goalies: Career regular season total GP is <= 50
Skaters: Career regular season total GP is <= 100
hmmm, I haven't tried that particular setup but at a glance that looks to be correct to me. You must have a premium league if you are getting those features no? If so you can always email them, they are VERY responsive (usually within an hour during normal business hours).
One thing you might wanna try is flipping around the greater than/less than rules.
So for example, in our league we have a rule that skaters can play up to (and including 200 games) and goalies 100GP and then they are no longer minor-eligible. Initially I had it set to:
career regular season total GP is <= 200 (100 for goalies) and I had selected 'make eligible' as my option but that didn't work (it made all players minors eligible somehow...weird). But then I flipped it to:
Career regular season total GP is >= 201 (101 for goalies) and I selected 'make ineligible' and it worked as I wanted.
I would just play around with it, its a new feature so it might be buggy
