I think Stamkos' three consecutive 90+ point seasons speak for themselves. Meanwhile Ovechkin has regressed a lot.
Stamkos
Ovechkin
Seguin and Strome
Points-only, which do you like most?

Stamkos has proven that he can do it year after year (90+ pts 3 years in a row). Until Ovie shows that he can turn it around I would take Stamkos all the way in a pts only league.

I voted... and in the majority.
Currently 10-1-1 for Stamkos.
Hockey Pools? Too many to mention. Points only, salary cap and dynasty.
Excellent guys, thanks for all the replies (and feel free to keep 'em coming).
This sort of confirms my own thinking so far.
I've just offered my Seguin and Strome for his Stamkos. Somewhat to my surprise, the Stamkos owner is intrigued and is considering. I think that'd be a pretty decent move if I can actually pull it off. (I fully expect to be a contender this year)
I've had pretty strong signals from the Ovechkin owner that he'd likely make the same deal (i.e. his OV for my Seguin and Strome), but I just can't bring myself to pulling the trigger on that one.
1. Stamkos
2. Ovechkin
3. Seguin and Strome
Stamkos for me, no hesitation
Again, terrific guys.
I think it's pretty clear Stamkos is the winner by a landside. That was my feeling as well. Accordingly, as noted in my previous post, I've now made an offer of my Seguin + Strome for his Stamkos.
Let's assume this gets rejected. My next question is do I offer Seguin + Strome for Ovechkin (different owner)?
This has been discussed between the OV owner and myself during the lock-out period, but I could never bring myself to going ahead with the trade despite the advice of many on this very forum. Am I crazy?
