Crosby and Malkin are going to defecate all over the league this season. Crosby is the only player who has a minimal chance to get 50, but I don't see it happening. Stamkos won't have enough empty netters over the shortened season to boost his goal totals. Malkin is going to dazzle, don't be surprised if he or Crosby get 80 points.

I think Stamkos is the only ''reasonable'' option here.
Crosby could put up 75 points, but not 50goals.

Crosby rocked 32 goals in 41 games back in 2010-11, which is close enough to get him in the running. Granted Stamkos is still the best option I still think Crosby is within the realm of possibility if we are even considering such an outlandish feat is possible.

Actually, 42 is probably way too high LOL. That prorates to like a 71 goal full season. How long has it been since anybody scored 71 in a season?

nobody is scoring 42 goals and 50 is not even worth talking about.
Ovy had 65 but not since Mogilny and Selanne.
