Benn has been playing for the Hamburg Freezers.
You can't go wrong with either one but I'm going Benn here and this is why:
Both are great to have but I think Benn proved a lot more than Hall did last year.
Also of Benn's 63 points only 10 were PPPs (71 games).
Of Hall's 53 points 21 came from the powerplay ( 61 games).
As talented as Edmonton's power play is I don't see Hall improving on his power play numbers.
Benn on the otherhand is now the focal point of the Stars power play (with Ribeiro being shipped) and the Stars have brought in some pretty good power play guys with Jagr and Whitney.
It's a lot easier to improve on PPP production versus even strength production in my mind. All signs point to Benn greatly improving his PPP production so he gets the nod for me.
I drafted both of them in my semi-keeper league so I have high hopes for both.
