Leafs versus Bruins. I'll take the better team, plus (in my opinion) Hamilton is a better player anyways. So Hamilton
might be biased due to being a leafs fan, but if its not a keeper i think you go with gardiner, he should outpoint hamilton. Boston will likely give dougie the seguin treatment with 10-15 mins a game + some pp time. gardiner should be featured on toronto's defence this season. plus hamilton has yet to put up a 30 pt rookie season, gardiner has. i could see 37+ pts out of gardiner this year (pace anyways).

I'm leaning towards keeping Gardiner. The concussion obviously worries me.
But Hamilton could easily get sent back down and how well would he really do this year?
At least we know Gardiner will be getting more minutes.

What about Gardiner's injury status? Isn't he out right now? Does anyone know how long he's expected to be out?

Go with Hamilton.
Gardiner is still out with concussion issues and no date yet as to when he'll return. I am sure they'll take it slow with him, we know how that goes and with short season, Hamilton is the better choice here for now.

Gardiner easy.
If he is expected to be out for more than 2 weeks when the season starts, then Hamilton. Id go with Gardiner and then play the wire if need be.
Without keeper implications, and being able to ignore injury, than I feel like it's Gardiner rather easily. Factoring in the injury, it obviously makes things a lot more difficult, but I wait and see how things go with Gardiner, that's how much higher I value him for a single season.
