Hudon is injured

He has a back injury. I don't know the server it's of it, but it's bad enough to get him out of the WJC... He's heading back to Canada. I hope it's not taking him out too long because he had a great season in the Q. On top of that, I own him in 2 leagues. He's still far from the show, but I got him very late in these two drafts, so I was happy with his season so far....

McNeill will take his place and he will join the team in Helsinki tomorrow. He's not really the same type of player...

McNeil isn't the same type of player as Hudon, but he's a good addition to their squad anyway. Canada has plenty of scoring, so adding a little extra grit with some scoring ability can't hurt.

Look at it this way.....if Hudon is only out a week, he'd still miss the start of the WJC. It's so close to starting it doesn't take much of an injury to miss the tournament. Back injuries are never a good thing though, they're so unpredictable.
