It has to be Peterson. He's literally carrying the Vikings to a playoff spot.
My take:

At this point it is AP's to lose.
Adrian Peterson
Peterson is the front-runner for the award right now, and for good reason. He has been giving opposing defenses nightmares all season. Peterson has the rare ability to run around or through would-be tacklers (he seems to enjoy the latter a lot more). Less than a year after tearing his ACL, heis within striking distance of Eric Dickerson’s single season rushing record of 2,105 yards (Peterson needs 294 yards over his final two games to set a new record).
It has to be Peterson. He's literally carrying the Vikings to a playoff spot.

Peterson has had a great year, but Peyton has to get some serious consideration here.
My choice would be Peyton Manning, and I hate Manning personally.

I'd say AP. Especially if he gets the Vikes to the playoffs. Not to mention he is putting up these numbers with virtually no passing game. Everyone knows they are going to run and they still can't stop him.
I say make them co-MVPs and co-Comeback Player of the Year. I'd really hate to split hairs on both of these aspects. Both wouldn't be playing right now if this was 20 years ago so their recovery from injury is simply phenomenal and then to come back and be the most important players on their respective teams is even more astounding. I'd hate to see either of these teams without them so for me it's co-MVP time. Is that a cop out? Maybe but if ever there was a time to split the award it's this year. Just because it's been a decade since it last happened doesn't make it a poor decision.
How would that work for payouts if you bet this? Do both bets count as winners?
Who deserves to win? AP but he won't win it unless The Vikes get to the playoffs and/or he breaks the all time rushing record. This is a passing league now. So the MVP will go to either Brady or Manning
No votes for Tebow???

I think without a doubt Brady deserves it, but they won't give it to him because he does this year after year after year (so it's not a compelling story) and he just makes it look SO damn easy.
AP for sure. He has slung this team over his back and taken them close to the playoffs.
I know Peyton has been great but it's not like Denver was a bad team last year. They already had a great defense.

I would rate them as:
Peterson - What he has done this season is simply amazing. No doubt he will break the rushing record.
Brady - Most feared offense in the NFL, worst pass defense in the NFL. Without Brady the Pats are a below .500 team.
Manning/Rodgers - Both are not close to the top 2 guys.
Derek Reese - Future Hall of Famer
14 Team NHL Salary Cap Dynasty

F - Marchand, Marner, Marchessault, Stamkos, Tuch, Comtois, Farabee, Bennett, McCann, W. Nylander, Nugent-Hopkins, Kapanen
D - Barrie, Oleksiak, Suter, Gudbranson, Savard, Lyubushkin, Ferraro
G - Saros, Rittich
Bench - Mittelstadt, Reimer, Roslovic, Keller, Reaves, Toews
Prospects - Byfield, Mercer, Veleno, Chmelevski, Tippett, Comrie, Tomasino, Valimaki, Gustavsson, Wolf
Adrian Peterson already has 60 yards and the Vikings have the ball again. Culd he break the record? Only 148 to go....
NINE yards shy of the single season record, he had people doubting him from the start of the season and he finished with over two thousand rushing yards this season.
Sorry Peyton, Adrian Peterson is my pick for MVP.
