Watched Mine. American SEAL steps on a land mine but can't remove his foot or it will go off. First half was ok but the last 40 was too melodramatic and cheesy. 4/10 for me.
Hockey Pools? Too many to mention. Points only, salary cap and dynasty.

The preview looks pretty solid! I hate it when the trailers are better than the movie!

I saw Alien: Covenant, and really enjoyed it. Possibly my favourite from the entire series, as this one had more depth of plot than any of them, in my opinion. 9/10

Hehe, well knowing that you watched some, let me split them into subgroups so you know what kind of movies they are going to be like based on the ones you've already seen:

    Zero Dark Thirty
    American Sniper
    The Hurt Locker

    13 Hours
    Tears of the Sun
    Behind Enemy Lines
    BlackHawk Down

    We Were Soldiers
    Pearl Harbour
    Saving Private Ryan
    The Thin Red Line

For this category, think more militia/small unit during the WW2 Nazi regime
    Fury
    Inglorious Basterds
Defiance (had forgot to put it initially)

Just watched Split. Very cool. NOT a horror movie. But it is the second installment of M. Night's Unbreakable triology. I liked it a lot, and McAvoy was sublime.

Wait, like, literally it's part two of Unbreakable? Or like a spiritual successor, non-sequel? If it's tied to Unbreakable, I'm much more keen to see it...

Watched "John Wick 2". Great mindless action with an ending that clearly indicates that the franchise is FAR from over. It will never win an Oscar,,but I've enjoyed both of these Keanu Reeves movies. Especially liked that he and Laurence Fishburne got some screen time together (first time since the Matrix trilogy??).

    Bottleneckers (12/16 in 2022)

    Top 9F, 4D & 1G . Keep 15, Max 23
F: J. Robertson, J. Hughes, Tavares, Lafreniere, Cozens, Newhook, Teravainen, Domi, R. Strome, Laine, Rossi, Raymond, Holtz, Perfetti
    D: Bouchard, McAvoy, Morrissey, Heiskanen
    G: Vasilevskiy

It's tied to it. But that's a bit of a spoiler alert. You won't realize it until the end. Collectively the multiple personalities within Kevin's mind are referred to as "The Horde." There are clues throughout the movie, but the very end is what ultimately gives it away as more than just a stand alone thriller.

EDIT: M. Night was going to originally include The Horde in Unbreakable, but he decided against it as he felt it was just too much to squeeze into one film. Split is literally the opposite of Unbreakable.
