    Default Prosser vs Schlemko

League categories in sig. Any thought on how both will fare in the next year or two? I see both being stuck in depth, but wanted to know if you feel better about one or the other.

Nothing else to do during the lockout

I dont like any of these two guys. You must be in a really deep league if you are talking about these guys.

Out of the two of them I would go with Schlemko. He finished the season strong for Phoenix and I have a gut feeling that once the season gets going that Phoenix is going to move some of their defencmen and there will be a roster spot for him.

My professional opinion would be they would both continue to suck.

That's the beauty of deep roto leagues - guys who seemingly suck have value. That is why they are in the NHL in the first place. The league has 24 teams, 23-man rosters and 27-man farms. Schlemko is my #6/7 dman right now (Bourdon and Stone behind him on my depth chart).

Prosser is decent (good PIM and blocks, modest pts, bad +/-) but I just feel like he could be doing press box duty.

This is why I was asking if anyone has a better feel for their situations.

I like Schlemko more, but he has to fight for the icetime on a very deep Phx backend.

Neither of them will get much points but I think Prosser has better upside for peripherals (PIM, hits and blocks).

I like Schlemko a bit more actually, I like what I've seen from him for Phoenix last season, albeit in limited action. I don't expect either to become anything better the 3rd pairing d-men with limited to no PP time, though.

(side note: just saw Schlemko is playing with Kyle Chipchura for Arizona of the CHL...not on the Dobber lockout player tracker)
