I think this is a lot to give up but it seems like you have no choice here. This deal will give you a chance to win this week but will hurt you down the road.
Alright team 3 in sig.
Im 4-6 in this league and in 8th of 10 and going up against the highest scoring team in the league this upcoming week. CJ is on a bye and I need this win to make the playoffs.
I just sent the top team (who plays a struggling team this week) my CJ/Julio for McCoy and Demaryius Thomas.
I know it's a lot to give up....but the bye factor this week plus the injury to Vick has me thinking McCoy's numbers will increase. Thomas has more points than Julio in my league format.....

I hear that but if I lose this week Im done anyway.....
Another thing to note is Julio's performance at home has been TERRIBLE. Im probably just pandering to my own deal because I normally don't bother with these splits....but really...

I think along the saem lines. Both of the guys you're getting back are better options.
the thing is that this is a straight up trade. If you give 5 players to get one you can use terms as "giving up too much", so I really dont understand that way of thinking? How can that be too much? If you gave both of those for McCoy it is probably too much. This is a straight up value comparison.
I would do this trade ASAP before fjax gets healthy. Even with fjax done for the year, I think I'd prefer McCoy over Spiller. With Vick out there is going to be a more normal running scheme in philly and I expect McCoy to get ALOT of touches per match going forward.
I would also prefer the stability of a Peyton Manning throwing to Thomas than Matt Ryan to Julio, but the biggest sell for me would be aquiring McCoy.
