    Short answer: No

Gagne offers nothing at this point and Heatley should rebound somewhat with a higher octane offense with the Wild

It depends on your keeper situation.
Kovalchuk is easily the best player in the deal, although with FOW Joe Thornton has great value too.

I'd hang on to Thornton and Heatly right now for the reasons the lobo mentioned.

I'd definitely keep Thornton and Heatley.

    Good luck.

Full keeper, I say no deal. Partial keeper, I'd be leaning towards the Kovie side depending on who your keepers are.

If you made a typo and meant Gagner, then yes I would. For Simon Gagne, no. Gagner lines up as the #2 in Edmonton baring a trade. thet #2 will probably play with Yakupov and hemsky. That's a good position to be in. I think it's time to bail on Heatly, thorton certainly has a few left in him, but in a keeper he loses some value every year. Simon Gagne is losing value rapidly. He is a band aid boy, and being replaced in LA's top 6. Not only do they have players that deserve the top, but they like to get chemistry going and a guy who is out as much as him can't get that. He is also so good at D, that he makes a valuable 3rd iner anyway.
