Why so down on Tarasenko? He has just as much experience as Yak and Granlund so it can't be that. He's on par with at least Granlund as a prospect, and he's not that far behind Yak as a prospect. I don't get it.

To be honest I'm not taking hits into account as its hard to predict with guys who haven't played in the NHL yet.
Yak Skinner and I don't see how someone could say otherwise at this point.
Not so much "down" on him as I am "up" on the others.. He has undeniable talent, but st Louis simply does not have the team philosophy that will allow for huge point producers. With their lack of activity this offseason coupled with their success last season, their philosophy isn't going to change any time soon. As such I just dont see the opportunity for tarasenko to put up big points in the next few years. I am a huge Oshie fan but traded him in my main keeper last year for this very reason.. Maybe I did put an extra space or two there haha, but there is no way I even consider tarasenko if the other three are available. Oh and then there is the Russian factor lol, and yes I know yaks is Russian but with him I don't feel nearly the same level of flight risk.

and for what its worth, tarasenko is a FAR more skilled offensive player than oshie.
