    Default Hiller or Rask

    This is a toughie. I have a ton of faith in Rask taking over the reigns but Hiller is rock solid and is just hitting his prime. In my format, Hiller has been very overlooked throughout the years but is a steady contributor.

    I can only keep 2 goalies and Carey Price in an automatic. The 2nd option is one of Tuukka Rask or Jonas Hiller. Points are as follows:

    Win = 3 points
    Loss = 0 points
    OT/Shootout Loss = 1 point
    Shutout = +2 bonus points
    Saves = .10 / per save (10 saves = 1 point)

    In my format, Wins are vital but saves are extremely important as well, so guys who play a ton and face a lot of rubber are key.

    Who would you go with as your 2nd keeper - Rask or Hiller?

    Thanks.

    It's Rask, Fungchen. Rask and Hiller will probably start close to the same number of games next season - I am guessing 65+, Boston has allowed more SOG than the Ducks over the past two seasons. Bruins win more games.

    I suspect you will get a lot of Rask hasn't proved himself. Yeah, well try and get a goalie the year after he breaks out.

    Great points, Shoeless. As you can see, "Rask" is the name slated next to Price as the 2nd G keeper in my sig - just looking for other perspectives. So thank you.

    Sounds like Shoeless has you covered already. I'd have gone with Rask as well.

    The 2nd option is Tuukka Rask

    Better goalie, on a better team. You'd have a killer 1-2 punch Fungchen.
