This looks pretty good although I'm reluctant to take on Dan Haren. My keepers right now look like Pujols, Lawrie, Cargo, Weaver, and I'm undecided on the 5th. If I took one of these deals, I'm guessing I would keep both players coming my way.

What do you guys think? Again, I REALLY want to win it this year (just traded my first rounder next season for James MacDonald).

I would pass in this too. Maybe you could move Dunn and Choo for a decent arm. I am assuming Upton is your SB? Plus Ortiz is playing some great play with a depleated line up so his numbers are only going to get better.

This deal might improve your pitching slightly while you give up a boatload of offense. You said if you took this deal you would keep both players coming in instead of keeping Cargo. That is they key. Cargo is arguably a top 5 player and definitely a top 10 player. I think your pitching is already pretty solid. If you are trading Cargo and Reyes you need a Matt Cain/David Price return. Not a struggling Dan Haren who really has struggled for a few seasons now.

Also I would keep McDonald over Haren if you made this deal.
