Points only limited keeper. My perry and getzlaf for his Crosby and skinner. I think with the risk of concussions again I need more than skinner. The ducks are buy low right now but I know they will have big years coming.

I will try to squeeze a bit more out of him... but in the end I will still do the trade to get Crosby. Skinner will be pretty good on an exciting CAR team next year...
I see it as Crosby being a 100 point player and skinner a 60-70. Perry and getzlaf are 80 each but no issues concussion wise. If Crosby retired due to another cuncussion I'd be wrecked. I may sacrifice 10 points but gain possible stability.Originally Posted by sentium

If Getzlaf is an 80 point player, then Crosby is a 120 point guy.
A common rule for trading is this: If you get the best player in the deal, then you win. Yes, there are risks, but you always go for the homerun, especially when you can get the best player in the game for way below market value. Getting Skinner is pure gravy and trying to squeeze more out of the deal will only risk the whole thing going to crap.
