Not sure how tongue-in-cheek your post was, but I think that has more to do with one of those players being 36, and the other 2 just not being all that good. Or in Zherdev's case, not willing to work and prove how good he is, because he could have been a beast if he wanted to.
Columbus is actually putting together a decent blueline (something poor Steve Mason never really had) and I like Bobrovsky's game. He'll never be an elite level starter but it's a nice move for Columbus.
