The Rangers are going to kill Ottawa, two teams at a different level. NYR in four games IMO.
"Be yourself; everyone else is already taken."
"Be kind, for everyone you meet is fighting a hard battle."
and btw ignorant is not meant as an insult, just saying people predicting a sweep or a breeze for New York in 5 games simply have not seen these two teams play eachother this season, and are ignoring basic facts about the two teams. Both teams are similar. Lundqvist is the main reason why NYR is in 1st and he has been floundering lately and is a known playoff underachiever.
Predicting a sweep in any series doesn't necessarily make someone ignorant, it just means they're either making a bold prediction or they're either being huge homers or trolls lol.
i locked in Rangers in 7. let's get this thing going

rangers in 5. sens charade ends here.
oooo, I think this is one of the worst mathcups the Rags could have drawn in the first round, the Sens have played them very well this year and they're gonna come in with that 'we don't give a ****, we have nothing to lose' attitude. For once I am with Big Ev's exhuberance on the Sens, I think this one will go 6 games at least and probably 7.
The Rags backed into the playoffs losing 3 of 4 games to their Eastern Conference playoff companions, that's never the kind of thing you wanna see heading into the playoffs. I predict they come out wound too tight and trying to do too much, all the Sens need to do is capitalize on it and steal a game in NY
I feel that the Rangers will be ready once the series starts. I think this will be a quick series. I feel the Sens will maybe win one game. I am taking the Rangers in 5..

I think people generally put way too much emphasis on these regular season statistics, blah blah blah... you can cut statistics any way you want to get to arrive at any conclusion you're looking for.
None of that matters in the playoffs in my opinion.
Lundqvist, Torts and the Rangers are too good a team, and too blue-collared in nature to overlook the Sens. I don't think this one is close... Rags in 5.
AYYYUUUUPP!!!
The only numbers I really think matter are goal differential because it proves you can consistently outscore a variety of opponents. It's possible Ottawa can turn the type of run and gun series they can win but it seems more likely to me that New York will impose their will.
