Default URGENT -- Bryzgalov or Hedberg

Bryz has the chipped bone and is against NYR
Hedberg is coming into this one following a Brodeur Shut out and he's against the isles...

My other starter tonight is Smith and coming off back to back shutouts, i'd be stupid not to put him in

Let me know who your pick is!! Thanks!

Yeah, I'd roll with Hedberg, too, but Bryz isn't a terrible start, either. He's been a rock, and he's at home. Bryz has notably poor numbers against NYR (1-4 .887%), and that helps tip the scales in Hedberg's favor for me.

    Hedberg for me as well.

Bryzgalov to me is a guy that needs consistent starts and he hasn't been very good this year with a lot of time between games.

    5 days rest - 5 goals against
    10 days rest - 3 goals against
    8 days rest - 4 goals against
    6 days rest - 4 goals against
Tonight game on 7 days rest and an injury - no thanks.

Hedberg played amazing against the Islanders earlier this month in a 2-1, 23 save performance and has decent career number against NYI.

Personally I'm rolling Hedberg over N.Backstrom tonight....if I had Bryz it would be a tough call but ultimately I'm really banking on Hedberg's perfect 5-0 record at home this season as well as his two great performances against the Isles this year. The concern from my end with regards to Bryzgalov is I wonder if his injury may still be lingering/if it may affect his mobility at all. As far as a percentage play goes I think Hedberg is a much safer option...

It is definitely isn't an easy choice though considering how the Islanders are getting scoring from everyone including Bailey, Okposo, Nielsen, Moulson, Tavares, Parenteau, etc. lately. Hopefully I just didn't just bone myself and all of you by endorsing Hedberg for tonight.

If you're just looking for the win, then Hedberg.

If ratio protection takes priority over the win, then I'd go with Bryz. The Isles have been lighting it up recently.

    Default winner - Hedberg

Yea -- All of the numbers posted in this thread back up Hedberg too hard not to play him over bryz tonight.

If I were a betting man, I'd go hedberg.. and I am a betting man.

Currently in 1st place and only 35 points ahead of second. To put this into perspective, I currently have 4000 points total

    Thanks folks -- RC

Flyers down 4-0 in the first period... so this is what it feels like to be b0ndon on a daily basis
