Lundqvist
Rinne
Quick
Fleury
Miller
Luongo
Howard
Bryzgalov
Halak
Lehtonen
"Be yourself; everyone else is already taken."
"Be kind, for everyone you meet is fighting a hard battle."
I disagree. Dobber's list is for his own league with his specific scoring system that INCLUDES the NHL postseason. That's how he motivates Cory ****ing Schneider being in the top ten, which is just plain ridiculous in any other keeper league. Also, Halak, Varlamov and Lehtonen being where they are in those rankings is just laughable.
GO WINGS!
Thanks for the feedback guys. I'm trying to evaluate if I should hold onto Roberto Luongo or keep a D man like Yandle instead.
I know everyone said in no particular order but Luongo's name didn't get put out as quick as others. It has me thinking that others are starting to jump ship on him too.
At the start of this season, I had a group that I considered as ELITE SIX.
2011-2012
*Lundqvist
*Rinne
*R.Miller
*C.Price
*Bryzgalov
*Luongo
And some of my threads indicate that I've been very close to pushing Quick into that group. Well, he's there now. I'd swap Quick & Luongo and put Quick into my ELITE SIX. It might be an elite EIGHT, but I don't know until the Schneider/Luongo/VAN situation gets straightened out.... which it will, by August.
For me, Luongo ranks somewhere in the #6-#8 goalie list.
2012-2013
1. Lundqvist
...
2. Ryan Miller (yes, that's right. I'm giving that BUF defense some time to gel. 3rd year Myers, plus a 2nd year of Ehrhoff in Buffalo will be huge.)
3. Rinne (bumped down because of uncertainty with Nashville defense)
4. Fleury (People are often so "glamoured" by the PIT offense, that they forget how stealthy the PIT defense is: Oprik/Letang, P-Mart/Z, Engelland/Niskanen... +Morrow rising)
5. Bryzgalov (Big worries with health/age of Philly D)
6. Quick
7. C.Price (I really like Price, I really dislike the Montreal defensive system)
...
8. Luongo (*Could move depending on Schneider situation)
9. Howard
10a. Halak (could jump to #7 if he was assured 65 starts, which he won't with Elliott playing well)
10b. Rask (Stats won't be there next year... but in a "keeper league", he's really worth one more "hold" season until Thomas contract ends & he probably retires)
(ps. I have to agree with Sentium regarding Dobber's goalie list. It's not bad currently... but he consistently has a player or two WAY out of whack. For example, Ryan Miller should not be below #10 on any keeper goalie list. Last year Dobber had friggin Bobrovsky at #3 for a while. That list is usually terrible. Currently, I can stomach it... but it's still not "good", IMO. The Dobber Top300 skater is list is very good however, very very good - I'll give him that.)

I think Fleury has to be in the top five if not too three in a W/SO league. I'm not a fan of him in general but the guy wins a lot of games.
Goalies: If I'm pickin em you best be sittin em!
In a keeper with that scoring format I'd go:
1) King Henrik
2) Rinne
3) Fleury
4) Quick
5) Howard
6) Price
7) Bryzgalov
8) Miller
edit: forgot price
