Start Varlamov against Calgary tonight?

Should i play him tonight against the flames? They've been pretty hot lately, and so has Varlamov, so im not sure. Its notable that they only scored 2 goals in their past two games, but they were pretty hot before that. Im definitely gona stat Bryz against the panthers tonight, im not sure about Varlamov tho, thoughts?

My decisions in a H2H always depend on how my opponents are doing at a certain point, but in most cases I would roll with Bryz and Varly tonight. He has had a solid past few months so why not play him with confidence now.

well my opponent has Miller and Fluery. Miller played last night and posted a win with GAA 3.03 and SA% 0.889. So if i pick my games carefully i can win the GAA and SV% categories. Would you prefer Varlamov against Calgary or Phoenix (thursdays game)? ill have to play him at least once this week so ill be competitive in the Wins category as well, and I definitely wont play him against Vancouver on Saturday. So its either against Calgary or Phoenix or both...

I think Varlamov is a good bet for a good GAA and save %. Nothing is ever guaranteed, but you have to roll the dice on something and Varlamov is playing plenty well to not worry about it.

It's too early in the week for playing matchups, especially with a hot goalie. I would definitely play him against Calgary and Phoenix, and then re-evaluate the situation on the weekend.
