    Default Sit Bryz & Co?

Alright guys I need to figure out my best strategy here and I figure you Dobberites would be the best to ask.

Currently I'm killing all 4 goalie categories (hopefully the formatting works here):
    W GAA SV% SHO
    Me 5 0.98 0.961 2
    Him 2 2.53 0.911 0

I'm rolling with Bryz, Lehts and Niemi. He has Theodore, Elliott and Ward (he sat Ward for his SO last night, thankfully).

The potential remaining starts for my goalies are:
    Lehtonen has Chicago (Tonight)
    Niemi has Detroit (Saturday)
Philly has Boston (Saturday) and Pittsburgh (Sunday) so Bryz likely will get one of two there

All in all, realistic scenario I have a chance for 3 starts. 4 if Phi goes to Bryz B2B.

The potential remaining starts for his goalies are:
Elliott has TB on Saturday (not likely to start as he played last night)
    Theodore has Buffalo (Saturday)
Carolina has Minnesota (Saturday) & Winnepeg (Sunday) so Ward will likely get one there.

Realistic starts there for him are likely 2. The only way he gets 3 is if Carolina goes to ward B2B.

Which means, if I sit my guys now the likelyhood of him catching me in any of those stats are very slim. I'll give it 70%.
If I start Lehtonen the start tonight and he gets me another W with decent stats I'd say that percentage jumps to about 90% that I'll win all 4 stats (arbitrary numbers are fun!)

Sorry for all the rambling (i'm a numbers guys). What do you guys think? What is my best course of action to secure these stats (which I need because although I'm winning the offense, it's CLOSE.

    Thanks!

Sit em all with confidence. No need to risk losing those peripheral stats when you have such a good lead it everything.

At a quick look, I like:

    Leht v. Chicago

    Bryz v.Boston, Niemi v.Detroit

    Bryz v. Pit

    In that order.

    If I were you, I'd play Lehtonen tonight (last game v Chi: 1.01 GAA, 974 Sv%; career: 4-1, 1.58 GAA, 947 SV%, home this year:16-9, 2.37 GAA)

And see how you go from there. You are in a favorable position, be conservative.

I would sit. The worst case that could happen is he ties you in wins. Thats all I can see happening. So if I were you, I'd sit everyone and keep the good GAA, SV% and SHO.

Not sure how the Flyers will approach the back to back games this weekend...but I wouldnt start Bryz vs the loaded Pens lineup, even as well as he has been playing lately.Bryz probally goes vs Boston and Bobrovsky vs the Pens

I agree with the others sit your goalies.

Ward is playing a weak Minny offense tomorrow so he could post another zero...keep that in mind.

This. There is no way he's going to catch you in GAA or SV% if you bench them all. The best he can do is catch you in Wins if goes 3 for 3 (unlikely). However if you start to play guys you open the door to be caught as your peripherals regress upwards. The upside is not worth the risk.

Hope you disregarded this terrible advice and sat all your goalies.

I sat Lehtonen last night and that was the hardest decision (obviously paid off)

Now since Boucher is confirmed to start against Minn I just have to sit back and wait for 1 goal to be scored on either of his goalies and there's no way he can touch my stats.

    Sittin pretty! Thanks boys!
