Start Varly against Buffalo today?
Since everyones prediction for Bryz worked out amazing yesterday, im hoping for the same luck again with Varly. Im leaning towards starting him, what do you guys think? My opponent is trailing me by one win, so i want to start as many games as I can without screwing over my SV% and GAA. Hes got Halak and Kiprusoff, so he'll be putting up great stats as well by week end I would think.

With your two awesome starts already this week and the fact that Halak actually let in four goals last night, albeit stopping 40+, I would start Varlamov tonight. His start plus Bryz's likely start tomorrow against the Islanders should set you up perfectly for the week.
Varlamov hasnt posted a sv% below .900 in the past 9 starts, .929 and above in 8 of 9, .950 in 6 of 9. Let in more than 2 goals (3 goals against NSH) only once. I'd be pretty confident with those numbers.

Even if Varly has a bad night, your opponent has a GAA of around 3. Worst case scenario I don't think Varly will play bad enough to tank your 1 GAA. It's worth the risk.

damn today wasnt his best performance, at least the night was salvaged with a win. Great analysis by the way guys, thanks for the advice, im still leading in three of the four categories, im hoping his goalies really mess up tomorrow and screw up his SV% lol
