Question What to do with Crawford for the rest of the year?

So, I'm running with 4 goalies right now...and would ideally like to have only 3 to help my offensive stats for the playoffs. I'm seriously gunning for first, and am currently in first by a large margin. It's a head to head playoffs though, so it doesn't matter about the standings...it's all about the best team for the last 3 weeks.

I can pick up Brodeur off of his owner, but am unsure on what to give up.

Brodeur's owner needs some goaltending help, so I've thought about giving up both Crawford and Khabibulin for Brodeur and a pick from him...but I'm leary about giving up Crawford.

Should I throw the towel in on Crawford and go for the win? or should I stay the course and go through a rough playoffs taking a chance at not coming out on top?

    Any help is greatly appreciated...

If you can get a good pick back I would do the deal for Brodeur. Halak and Luongo are very solid starters to have and you should be able to get through most weeks without even looking to a third goalie.

If you can win now, make the deal.

I concur with this advice. Remember now, fantasy hockey isn't about building the best keeper corps for next season. It's about winning the championship, and since you have a legit shot I say you go for it...

    Good luck.

I'd probably do that deal - not sure what the other guy thinks he is getting out of it actually - Crawford is on very shaky ground to my mind.
