Bishop's time to shine.
I've been waiting for this since the trade happened, but Lehner's strong play allowed him to stay up on a game-by-game basis. Lehner's has lost 2 in a row now and wasn't his spectacular self in the last game against Florida where he let in 2 of 4 questionable goals and gave the Sens the perfect chance to flip their two youngsters.

Because Bishop is the better goalie and they need to see what they have. Between Lehner and Bishop, Bishop is the better goalie, more mature and more NHL ready (a term that gets used too much, but it works here).Originally Posted by newper114
Lehner showed a bit more of his fiery temper against Florida and may have lost his focus because of it. He needs to grow up a bit IMO, but there is no doubting his ability to stop the puck.

I scooped up Bishop on several teams tonight.
no way they play Auld.
Bishop probally starts the majority of the Sens games the next 2-3 weeks.

Auld may be done with the Sens. I would be surprised and disappointed to see him play another minute of game action. When Anderson is activated off the IR, you can expect Auld to be waived.
I prompted people to grab Bishop as soon as the trade was announced and hopefully anyone that listened, gets rewarded now.
