Tough choice, but i give the edge to Neuvy over Holtby. However, i can see a tandem situation in the future. No lie, Holtby could steal that job once he gets his NHL stride. It's really a situation to monitor.

So is the general thinking that Vokoun will be else where next year? Any thoughts as to where? I hope Washington hasn't soured him so much right now that he goes back to Europe....

I think its fair to say that Washington wont resign Vokoun. His 1 year deal at $1.5M is a great bargain and he will be looking for a raise in the off season. I just dont see Washington being the team to give him what he wants.

Going forward next season, I see them sticking with Neuvirth and bringing Holtby up as a backup who could very easily steal the starting job at some point in the season.
