Default Start Crawford tonight v. Detroit (away)

The Red Wings are on the road in Chicago tonight and I'm debating starting Crawford. He has been red hot his last 3 games but 4 out of 5 before that were not great. Detroit is winning a ton but haven't had many 4+ goal games so even a loss could mean good peripherals, also Howard is back and may be shaky. Would you start Crawford?

I would since they are at home and just came off a huge win against the Blues. Not only Crawford, but the whole team has been playing well the past few games, so tonight is a big test against the best team in the league. Chicago needs wins, so they will be playing hard.

I would start him. Detroit normally plays well against CHicago no matter what, but coming off a six game homestand and with another huge home game Thursday, I can honestly see them mentally checking out for tonight's game. Not a good thing....but it's been known to happen with them.

Looks like Toews is out tonight (see injury section) so I might reconsider. Losing the team's best two way forward can't help Crawford with the stats.

I think Chicago can win (Howard could be rusty, away game for the wings) but if you are looking for peripherals, I would consider sitting him.

EDIT - Looks like Dats is out now for 2 weeks so Detroit will be w/o their top gun tonight. God, I have no idea how to call the CHI-DET game........

I'm rolling Crawfordout there......although the Toews injury doesn't help, I expect Howard to have a little rust on him. The Hawks have found a bit of a groove, gonna hope they keep rolling.
