I would like to know what the consensus \'projected\' impact would be from him. keeper impact like say Brassard is having, or something more along the lines of immediate impact. his stats are impressive and some articles I am reading really praise the kid.

I would not expect too much from Giroux during hi short stint. He will shine next year. It also depends what line he plays on.

Giroux\'s junior team, the Gatineau Olympiques play on Friday evening, so he should play tonight against Ottawa and Thursday against the Sharks in Philly before being returned to Gatineau. Ottawa\'s Le Droit newspaper cites Flyers\' John Stevens saying that Giroux should be paired with teammates that should help him be succesfull, adding that he is tempted to pair him with Briere because both of them think alike on the ice. According to the article, Stevens said he should have some time on special teams.

from what I understand, this is a player to possibly look at next season, but should not be leaned on at all this season for points. I mean, he is going back after Thursday that says it all.
but from what I read he looked good with Briere and had a few chances.
