Vokoun against Boston I think is self explanatory. Fleury may get the win but I think his other cats may suffer especially since Elliot is 4-1-0 against Pitt and StL is 21-3-3 at home.
Hiller and Smith doesn't have the best record against the teams they are facing but Smith is doing well with Phoenix and the Ducks have turned their game around.... am I right?

Also, I can pick up Gustavsson @NYI, Lehtonen vs Anh and Nabokov vs Tor from waivers if those are better pick ups and plays. Thanks
Roll Hiller and pick up Gusty - might as well get on the bandwagon while he's this hot.

Who would you drop then on my team? Goli? Smith?

If you have to drop one of those two, then I would hold onto'em and gamble with Fleury instead... he's had a few horrendous games during their winning streak but at least he should get the win tonight. I don't trust the Monster enough to justify dropping one of those guys... why don't you drop OReilly or Hanzal instead?

Does anyone know if Rask is starting for sure? He’s an auto start for me! Epically with Crawford as my other option.

Do I roll with Crawford if Rask doesn’t start? Nashville has been good lately and Chicago goalies tend to get shelled from time to time?

I have a trade involving OReilly in the works. Hanzal has been a really good multicat guy for me so I'd like to keep him as my spot start player. I think I'll just roll with Fleury as I just looked up his stats and he actually has been really good away the last 6 away games dating back to Dec 23 averaging a 1.50 GAA in those games.

Interesting, I have another decision to make if Rask is playing (should have listened to you last time). Lundqvist, Hiller and Rask. Even though no Ovechkin and Backstrom, I'm thinking Lundqvist and Hiller.
Huh, my CBS league has the extended ("double") week. Maybe our commish got it set up special somehow.

Ugh... I've got Kipper, Lehtonen, and Elliot to choose from tonight. Who do I sit and who do I play? I'm leaning towards Kipper and Elliott right now, just because Lehtonen's not been the same since his injury. None of the matchups are great, I know.

How many do you have to start?

I'd definitely start Elliott and I'm pretty comfortable starting Kipper tonight too if you need wins.

I would avoid starting Lehtonen like the plague... Ducks are on fire and they're scoring tons of goals, meanwhile Lehtonen is exactly the type of goalie who sometimes lets in tons of goals. Could be a shit-show for your ratios.

Am I the only one who finds it absolutely mind boggling that Elliott only has 1 vote?

Halak was on fire, but let's not forget Elliott leads the league in GAA and is 2nd in Save % and Shutouts. Not to mention Fleury's been lit up on many occasions during their win streak.

I would say you are right. I dropped Lehtonen for Hiller and although recent matchup history favors Lehtonen, Hiller and the Ducks have been playing well whereas Dallas is Benn-less and in a slump.

Kipper doesn't have the best matchup but he is at home and they actually have a respectable 13-6-2 record at home. Sharks aren't really known for a high powered offense anyway so even if you get the loss, there is a fair chance that it may be a lower scoring game.

Elliot is an interesting one. He has cooled off a bit and is playing the red hot Penguins and Fleury has only let in 9 goals in the past 6 away games. However, StL is 21-3-3 at home and Elliot is 4-1-0 against the Pens. I'm gonna be rooting for a Pittsburg win as I have Fleury starting and need a good game and a win from him. Nonetheless, it would be a very good game.

If you had to start two, my vote would be for the two you mentioned.

Thanks guys. I can start 1, but my league has a high minimum number of starts, and I'd rather get 2 if it doesn't totally kill me. Kipper and Elliott it is.

Any scoop on Philly's goaltending tonight yet? I'm going out and won't be able to set lines. Lundy's dressed, but I need to dress either Bryz or Bobs. Nothing on the big sites as far as I can see yet. Thanks.

If you have to gamble and can't wait for confirmations I'd go with Bobs.

Bryz was awful in his last game, and he's started 2 games in the last 3 days already. I can't see them starting him 3 nights in 4 days after letting in 5 goals last game.

Yep, Bobs was my default and had him plugged in just in case. But I just see moments ago Bobs is the confirmed starter. Thanks, not that it was a stretch but our hunches were on.
