Might have to take a look for that next time I go, though I feel like that might not be for a while.

My to buy/try list is actually pretty meager right now:
    Fat Tug IPA
    Le Biblouet Makroken
Trois Pistoles (which I did buy, but have not tried yet)

Aside from that, I need to think of a few more to try out.

I've gotten lucky the last couple of times I found that one. It's a limited release so it's kind of like hitting the beer lottery when you find it. They brew one batch early in December and that's it until the following year. With that high abv though if they don't get lightstruck they'll hold for years without going bad so you might get lucky and find a bottle that's gone unnoticed. Really good and the alcohol isn't as harsh as you'd expect for almost 17%.

Just picked up some London Pride today. Stuck it in the mini-fridge and can't wait to drink it after my dinner meeting.

I also forgot that I still have a Rochefort trappist ale to drink. So Need to get to that one soon too! Felt like my lucky day all of a sudden.

Speaking of Beer Lottery......I convinced my mom to stop at the Russian River Brewery on her way back from Palm Springs. She loaded up 2 coolers and showed up with 32 Pliny the Elder and 16 Blind Pig IPA. My early birthday present!

Off to Seattle this am for a big hockey tourney this w/e.....I'll try to share some tasty treats. Have a great w/e boys!

Speaking of the beer lottery again, I had the last of the two bottle of that Mephistopheles last night. That bottle was from the 2009 vintage and I can say it does age well. The alcohol is more noticeable then in the newer vintages, but still a good one to have as a night cap.

Seriously, if there is some way to work out a trade or something?? I'm not too sure about mailing beer...but there has to be a way? Anyone know?

You can ship cases of wine and whatnot, so I'd think there would have to be a way. Maybe I'll try to look into the details today.

Most sites related to beer are blocked... but found this tidbit on UPS' site:

UPS provides service for other alcoholic beverages (beer and alcohol) on a contract basis only. For shipments containing beer or alcohol, shippers must enter into an approved UPS agreement for the transportation of beer or alcohol as applicable, must be licensed and authorized under applicable law to ship beer and alcohol, and may ship only to licensed consignees. UPS does not accept shipments of beer or alcohol for delivery to consumers. UPS accepts shipments of beer or alcohol only among and between selected states.
