Man, that BORIS sounds like something special. Back at it tonight.....weekends are great!

Started things off with the old fallback...RED RACER IPA, then tried this:

    Indica India Pale Ale

    BA SCORE 86
    good

    Brewed by:
    Lost Coast Brewery and Cafe
    California, United States

    American IPA | 6.50% ABV

Not bad, but too malty for my new hopped up palate. Enjoy boys!

I'm taking tonight away from beer...for now and starting off the evening with a good ol' Captain and Coke Zero. Love it almost as much as beer. I'll probably have a Guinness or some Red Hook (I've got way too much of that right now from my birthday). I need to drink to help myself fall asleep. Does that make me an alcoholic?

You guys should try Spice Box spiced whiskey. Has a vanilla taste to it. It's great as is, on the rocks, with a bit of water, or with some cola. I highly recommend it for a sip or three!

Just spent all night catching up on the WJC since I had to record everything after the round robin, and had myself a few Guiness' while doing so. All in all a good night.

Hey NWO I think it was you that posted a link up somewhere in this thread for a site where you can find out where certain types of beer are sold.....it might have been for that Boulevard stuff specifically I can't remember.....any chance you could post that link again?

Yeah that was from Boulevard's website. It's a great little tool to give you an idea of what varieties should be on hand at any store that carries their beers.

You know how you know you have a problem? Here it is......you have a few beer, watch a bit of the SJ/Caps game...say to yourself, "Cool, Mike Green's back and he looks pretty good. I think I'll put him in my lineup next week." Then, feel a bit sleepy. Don't check the boxscore before bed (to realize Green only ended up playing just over 7 min). Finally, wake up in the am, and find out he tweaked the groin and is now locked in my lineup for the next 7 days.

This thread may have to be merged with the "I hate Mike Green" one? I truly hate him (still love beer though)

Perhaps Blayze really isn't a man at all, but a lost troll from the white parts of Mexico who only drinks "Woo girl" beers.

Can't let this thread fall off first page of the Lounge!

However, I have nothing new to contribute as I'm sick...

That's a waste of a perfectly good lime...

I did want to get some opinions from you guys about Leinenkugel. I run across one of the drivers I work with who's into microbrews and imports like we are and he recommended them. But on Beeradvocate they score lower then brewers like Boulevard, Great Divide, and Deschutes by a fair margin. Just wanted to get some more opinions before I plunk down my money unless I can get one in a mixed sixer.

I've actually managed to try a few on various trips through the States. Not bad, not great. Definitely not worth buying a whole 6 of any I'v tried, but if you can find a mixed pack or a bottle shop that does the mix/six pick your own...Certainly better than the macro garbage that's out there.
