I think beer are like movies. If you think its gonna be the best movie ever and its not, you think its a shit movie even tho it could have been a very high quality film. Just didn't meet your expectations.

Racer 5 was like that for me. I read so much about how good it was that when I finally had some and it was good, very good even... just didn't take me to heaven like I expected.

Sometimes I will try to leverage this effect. Lets say I'm gonna watch a movie like "The Happening". I purposefully think its gonna be the worst movie of all time. I put that in my mind real good. Then when its actually an average movie and it exceeds my low expectations, I can go away thinking it was a good movie.

On my 1st Racer 5... really surprised! Pretty mellow for an IPA. I like how subtle the flavors are. Very drinkable.

Even $16 for a 6 pack is a lot more reasonable than $35. Its just to damn expensive here. Not value for money.

Soooooooo..... has anyone tried that 8 Wired Hopwired yet? Come on and get drinkin!

I tried it months ago... so long in fact that I don't remember all the details. It was good though and I'm sure I put my thoughts up in this thread at the time.

I think he shipped one of them to Dyz. He was hoping the child could have a better life in Canada, that you folks wouldn't make fun of him just because his name is Dogfish Head.
Your beer mug isn't half-empty, your just half-way to the next refill.....
