I picked Granlund as my captain. Had too many Canadians that I wanted to pick.

I'm off to my typical lightning hot 0 point start after 2 periods. I seriously can't predict players in this tournament for the life of me!

Switched DSP in for Pearson at the last minute because Mckenzie's tweet had Pearson listed as the 13th forward.

DSP now injured and Pearson on the first PP unit with a PPA already. SWEET JOB BONDON!...goddammit.

K, I last second vetoed Dougie off my team, plus I have no Huberdeau. I can already tell I'm losing this time around.

Looking good so far on my end. I've got Schwartz (my captain), Dougie Hamilton, Huberdeau, Scheifele and Beaulieu for Canadians. Hopefully Pulkinnen can get going as well. I really like my chances right now, but it is early.

Not surprising at all. Solid pick considering his linemates. I was going to take Stone as well but decided to go with a longshot (Donskoi) and hold back on taking so many CDN

We should all post our squads here.

Oops...so I read in the other thread Namestnikov got cut? I'm so not clutch. Take a break from the hockey world for a few days and everything's crumbling underneath me!

Huberdeau was the only Canadian player I really needed on my team. All of the others were "meh" for me as I think the scoring will be spread around.

    DY's Team:

    CPT - Mikael Granlund

F1 - Gallagher (CAN) - Don Hay will give him plenty of ice time.
F2 - Charlie Coyle (USA) - I flip flopped between him, Bartschi and Girgensons
F3 - Huberdeau (CAN) - a must have for me. As good as most Captain options
    F4 - Pulkkinen (FIN)
    F5 - Bjugstad (USA)
F6 - Donskoi (FIN) - my one sleeper on forward. He's played well in international play
    F7 - Grigorenko (RUS)
    F8 - Yakupov (RUS)
    F9 - Kucherov (RUS)
    F10 - Johan Larsson (SWE)
    F11 - Filip Forsberg (SWE)
    F12 - Brandon Saad (USA)

    D1 - Dougie Hamilton (CAN)
    D2 - Nathan Beaulieu (CAN)
    D3 - Adam Clendening (USA)
D4 - Mattias Backman (SWE) - underrated Swede
D5 - Rasmus Ristolainen (FIN) - longshot but with Maatta out I like his chances better (very young tho)
    D6 - Ivan Telegin (RUS)

    G1 - Jack Campbell (USA)
G2 - Johan Gustafsson (SWE) - swapped him in last minute for Visentin. I needed a G that other teams were less likely to take.

I took a lot of '12 players as I really want to cheer for them. Should be interesting.
