I'm leaning Brodeur but in our weekly league where goalies can lose you points for poor performances, Rask is tempting because although he won't play as much, it's less likely that he'll hurt me week to week. Am I making sense?

Thanks, I picked up Brodeur last night and now that Lehtonen is officially IR, I have another spot and I think I'm gonna pick up Rask just to be totally safe.
I'm confused, half of the owners in my league are complaining about how much their goalies suck, but there are still decent options on the wire. Morons...

Montoya has strung together several strong starts and could be a good option for you as well. Rask will not be playing much.
See, this is exactly what I was talking about with Brodeur. Even if Rask doesn't start at all this week, he still would have been 20 points better than Brodeur.
I'm currently losing 38-29 and Marty has been a whopping -20 for me. If I started Rask, I have 49 points and am up 11 instead of down by 9.
So should I just drop Brodeur at this point?

I'm gonna consider this case closed and drop Marty and roll with Tuukka until Lehtonen rebounds. Luckily, my team is solid from top to bottom and it looks like I'll still win even with Marty's -20. Currently up 71-52. Thank you Matt Moulson!
