Im in dire need of help at goaltending. I was very close to getting this owner to sell me Niemi until tonight. Bryz blows up with 9.00 GAA and Niemi is currently pitching a shutout (of course).
So I wanted to know what you guys think about me moving Rick Nash in order to get Bryzgalov? Should I stay on target with Niemi? Im thinking if I can close a deal acquiring Niemi I have a good chance to land either Quick or Fluery which is my end game. Since I dont really have a viable goalie to swap for those two, both those GMs have told me flat out no they cant do it unless I could offer them a good goalie in return.
Ive also gotten an offer to possibly acquire Varlamov, the GM was asking about Backlund...that could be a real steal for me too.
Basically I just wanna know is it worth it to move Nash for Bryz in the long run? I know Bryz is signed forever but Bobs isnt bad at all, and it seems like Holmgren is leaning on the youth in Philly now.
Im thinking my best bet is to stay on track with Niemi, then flip Niemi for Fleury or Quick which would be ideal.
Anyways, thoughts? Thanks in advance
