Greiss Gus or Sandford for this season

Who would your rather have as your 3rd goalie.... If any???

Well, it depends on what you are looking for. If you are looking for the occasional spot-start, with a high likelihood of posting solid peripherals and a win, then I would go with Greiss; on the other hand, if you are looking for the highest likelihood of maintaining a starting gig for the long-haul, it's Sanford - although his chances of posting solid peripherals and consistent wins are much less.

Ultimately, it depends on what you really need out of that third goalie slot, but I would probably go with Greiss. You seem pretty set with Price/Crawford - a couple of workhorses who should see ~65 starts each, with Price maybe getting more than 70 again this year. I don't really see you needing too many games played from your 3rd string goalie, so Greiss to me is probably the "safest" option to post legit stats when he gets the occasional start.

You're really scraping the bottom of the barrel there eh.

I can't see any of those guys playing a big role over the course of the season.
Once Reimer comes back, best case scenario is Gustavsson is relegated to backup but won't start much.
Once Nittymaki comes back, Greiss will either be sent down or Nitty will be traded.
Sanford - simply no longevity I think.
