Backstrom.

If Toews was healthy he is the easy choice. A total package. The injury knocks him to third behind Kane (who also suffers as a result of the Toews injury) and the winner Backstrom. Enstrom is a nice darkhorse but Backstrom has kicked it to the next level in Washington.

I have to go with my boy backstrom. I have said since the begining of the season that he would outscore Kane despite his slow start. Even with Toews in the lineup Backstrom will put up more points than Kane. AO >>>> Toews.

Again Backstrom! He is on a torrent pace and should beat out Kane but it will be very close

Ummm. I was going to pick Backstrom. Because I don\'t want to vote the same I\'ll go with Kane.

Hold on there Bubbalouie, since when does best rookie = most rookie points. Andrew Raycroft(oops) & Barret Jackman have one of these on their shelf & they ain\'t no point machines (well actually Raycroft is one when he is net but not in a good way).

Backstrom is good, real good but he is a complimentary player whose success depends in part on his linemates. Toews is more of a complete package with the intangibles that Backstrom lacks.

Which would you rather have on your team Adam Oates or Steve Yzerman? That is the kind of comparison I see this being. Both good but different.

bacstrom...if towes didnt injured himself, and nylander didn injured himself, i would ahve been a completely different scenario!!! but now kane lost toews for a month and backstrom find ovechkin ....1+1=2!!!! or 1+1= back to back 4 assist game(which btw i didnt know but is a nhl record,,,no one ever did this before ) !!!
