They are right it does come down to Boudreau & Hitchcock. The deciding factor - who makes the playoffs. If one doesn\'t the other wins it. I\'ve tied my ponies to the Washington bandwagon on the other awards so let it ride on Boudreau.

Gretzky as well.
Remember last year? Everyone had an opinion on why he shouldn\'t coach. Hear that...the critics are quiet. Perhaps not this year but he will win one for sure.

Babcock. Amazing coach. Detroit has a fantastic roster but he plays a great system that gets the most out of all of his players.
For all those that pick Gretzky. Since when does the waiver wire win the Jack Adams. Phoenix\'s turn around come down to one name - Bryzgalov. Without him Phoenix keeps LA company in the cellar Gretzky brings knowledge & passion behind the bench but doesn\'t win the Jack Adams.
I agree Babcock deserves at least recognition if not the award. The problem is the Adams is most often given to those that turn their team around not keep them on top like Babcock.
Gretzky, Boudreau & Hitchcock as who I predict gets the nomination nod
all good choices

If I was 1st to reply I would have said Babcock.
I will now go with Paddock. If Ottawa wins the East especially with the whole goalie carousel and the Heatley injury, I think he deserves to win the Jack Adams the most.
Paddock/Murray still need to add another piece to the puzzle to put them over the top.
