    Hey Dobber!

    Keeper/auction roto league.
    $55 cap.

    11 teams.
    G, A, PIM, +/-, Spec Gls (1pp+2sh), Goalie pts (2w+2shutout)

Lots of talent available - lots of teams with money too.

Who do you see as worth keeping?

    Backes 5.00
    Eberle 3.00
    Karlsson 1.75
    Subban 3.25

I CAN keep three, but don't have to keep any.

Already have Krejci, Carter, Kessel, Tavares, Giroux, Neal, Byfuglien, Downie, and Quick for a grand total of $21.

    3. What will be the ultimate outcome in Nashville with Rinne and Lindback.....ditto in New York with Quick and Bernier, as well as Boston with Thomas and Rask.

    4. Will Phil Kessel ever be a PPG player?

    5. How quickly will Winnipeg be able to make that organization into one that can top 90 points?

    6. Will the Caps bounce back offensively this season, for my sake, namely Ovi and Semin.
    1. Long term upside for Landeskog in peripherals (Hits, Shots). Will he end up long term with Duchene or Stastny? Couldn't say about hits, but I think he'll be a 200+ shot guy

    2. How long before Cam Fowler is the undisputed PPQB in Anaheim (How long before Lubo hangs it up?). Lubo won't hang em up as a Duck, I'm sure. Point is moot, as Fowler will be top PP this year as they move to two defensemen.

    3. What will be the ultimate outcome in Nashville with Rinne and Lindback.....ditto in New York with Quick and Bernier, as well as Boston with Thomas and Rask. - Lindback, I don't hold a lot of stock in him right now because I think the Preds will re-sign Rinne. Rask will be 1B this year, and they'll be 50/50 next year. Then Rask takes over in 2013-14. I think Quick/Bernier will be resolved via a trade.

    4. Will Phil Kessel ever be a PPG player? Yes, in four or five years. A great center will be key though.

    5. How quickly will Winnipeg be able to make that organization into one that can top 90 points? Four years. I think it will be a long rebuild.

    6. Will the Caps bounce back offensively this season, for my sake, namely Ovi and Semin.
    Yes, by 15%

    Low-40s
and he is ranked high because, of all of them on that list, he is the most certain to be a successful NHLer. I put a lot of stock in "certainty"

Any advice on how to upgrade this team?
That's a good team, but jump on the Jagr hype and move him for a dark horse RW (who may wind up even better or equal) and a defenseman that is better than Gilbert. I also think Biron and Steve Bernier are wasting roster space, can you play the wire to replace them?

    Default Connolly

I've done two drafts so far this year and have one more to go. No one has, thus far, drafted Tim Connolly. Am I missing something? I get that he's a band aid boy but is he hurt right now? I haven't been able to find anything about it. If he's not hurt, how many games do you see him getting this year before he GETS hurt?
    Thanks!

I don't see a lot of upside here, maybe a 40-pt guy. But this month he'll have a chance to show what he can do and perhaps bump that up to as high as 50 or 55.
