Nice start to the season for him and good to see. He's a talented kid, with some nice potential.
He definitely has an opportunity to be a valuable player with Calgary in the future.

Definitely an impressive start. But for some reason, I'm not sold on him. I owned him when he made a good first impression with Calgary last season, then flipped him for a disgrunteld Matt Perreault owner (MP had been sent down at the time - that trade ended up being a good one). Now not sure I'd pick him up over anyone on my current team.

I would, I actually just made that move in a deep 20 team dynasty league (dropped Gerbe for Horak).
Gerbe is yet to impress me, I've heard a lot about him but no results. If you're in a yahoo league that counts FOW, Horak is listed as an LW and he had a bunch of FOW last year.

Interesting. My league (the one in my sig) doesn't count FOW or forward positions. I agree Gerbe hasn't done much yet but there are guys on my team I'd drop before him (most notably Tangradi, also possibly Leblanc and possibly Colborne the way he's started this season). I'd like to give Gerbe a bit more time.

Fair enough, in my league I just didn't have another guy below Gerbe's level on my team.
Drop Tangradi for him in your league, if you're more comfortable with that.
