Default Forward upsides - Nyquist, MacLean, etc.

I'm looking to potentially add 1 or 2 of these forwards in my upcoming draft. All / Most should be available when I pick 18th, 19th and 20th. Which do you like best long-term? I don't need points next season - and goals are a bonus:

    1. Brett MacLean
    2. Gustav Nyquist
    3. Joe Colborne
    4. Matt Puempel
    5. Mattias Tedenby
    6. Chris Kreider
    7. Mika Zibanejad
    8. Teemu Pulkkinen
    9. Marcus Johansson
    10. Joey Hishon
    8-GM / WK-H2H
    Forwards: G=2, A=1, PP/SH= +1, GWG= +2, Shootout G=1, HT= +1
    D-Men/Captain: G=3/A=2
    Goalies: W=3, OTL=1, SO= +2, SV= .10

    Start = 13F, 6D, 2G / Keep 44 (3G)
    Captain: Matthews
(F): MacKinnon, Pasta, Marner, Rantanen, Malkin, Barkov, M.Tkachuk, W.Nylander, Pettersson, Gaudreau, Laine, Keller, Miller, B.Tkachuk, Stutzle, DeBrincat, L.Raymond, K.Johnson, Cozens, Quinn, Guenther, Kulich, Cooley
(D): Makar, Dahlin, Q.Hughes, Ekblad, Rielly, Werenski, Letang, Jones, Chychrun,
Seider, Edvinsson, Jiricek, Korchinski, Mintyukov, Ceulemans, Hutson
    (G): Shesterkin, Demko, Vejmelka

Me personally, I love Mika Zibanejad - awesome opportunity in Ottawa. Has a multi cat type game. I feel he has highest upside in the list you provided. He has he passion, work eithic and has that "edge" to him. Exvellent, speed and hands combo.

I think he has highest upside.

My 2nd choice would be Tedenby. He can maybe hook up with some real good linemates, but overall Zibanejad is you're man.

Thanks, Shake. Just as an FYI - this is a points only (with a bonus for goals). No PIM, hits, FOW, etc.

wow sorry for all the typos haha

Even if not a multi cat league, I stil like him the best even in points vs the rest of the lot. IMO.

With a bonus for goals this is my top four:

    1. Brett MacLean
    2. Mattias Tedenby
    3a. Gustav Nyquist (longer term)
    3b. Mika Zibanejad
    12 team points only keeper (G = 1, A = 1, W = 2, SO = 2)
Dress 6 forwards, 4 defensemen, 2 goalies, weekly starts
    Roster limit - 20 plus 4 prospects

    I like Tedenby here.

The 4 Gramps mentioned + Colbourne intrigue me too. MacLean def has the ability to be a goal heavy kind of guy but lots of people are worried he is taking so long to reach the show so he may not be the safest bet. I'm really unsure of Johansson's upside but he could be very relevant too.

    1. Mika Zibanejad (gamer)
    2. Mattias Tedenby (nice opportunity)
    3. Marcus Johansson (I'm really digging his progression
    4. Brett MacLean (could become the best on this list - likely has highest upside)
    5. Gustav Nyquist (showing that he's NHL ready and has scored at every level)6. Joe Colborne
    7. Joey Hishon (concussions are clouding his ranking but his skill puts him top 4 on this list if he wasn't experiencing these symptoms)
    8. Teemu Pulkkinen (boom or bust - I am leaning towards the former)
    9. Chris Kreider
    10. Matt Puempel ( I do like his skill set but he's so raw that his NHL status is very much in the air. He has a lot of developing to do. The other guys on the list are just more developed/closer to the show)
