My keeper league is expanding this year so we are submitting untouchables before the keepers are selected.
I plan on keeping:
Datsyuk
Parise
E Staal
And I am torn between Hall and Duchene although my gut says Duchene. I would just hate it if Hall starts putting up 90 point seasons.
Untouchables are made because expandees will be stealing one player per rosters FYI.

you have to go with hall...higher upside than couture or duchene. the latter two might put up better numbers next year, but i think within 2-3 years top hall will be on a level above them. just think how amazing the oilers will be in a few years...
I can submit any 4 as an untouchable but. 1. Player will be stolen from my roster, also not too worried about niemi being taken above other goalies.

I like Hall alot more than Duchene.

I don't think the point spread this year is going to be much between Hall and Duchene (5-10 in favor of Duchene) and Hall definitely has the upside on Duchene so I think it would be a mistake not to protect Hall - once he is gone he is never coming back to you (well certainly not as cheaply as trading Duchene for him down the road.)
Protect Hall. They will be close this year and Hall will lead the two of them in points from then on

I would personally keep Duchene... Love the kid, i also love hall so its tough. If i were you i would be protecting both Duchene and Hall for sure... along with Parise and 1 of Dats/Staal...

Hall is going to be a 40+ goal man someday. Duchene is going to get 50 assists this year.
Since G/A in this league are 1 point a piece go with Duchene. You are going to get a higher output from him this year at the very least. Its going to be two seasons from now when they are on par with each other points wise.
Go with your gut.
Even tough Duchene should outpoint Hall this year and maybe next year by a fairly slim margin, Hall, as mentioned earlier can become a fantasy monster in the near future. In a few years he will be the leader of a dominant Oiler team oozing with offense. Hall/Eberle/ RNH or Paajarvi....sounds decent

yeah it's crazy tough decision.
I am considering keeping them both over E Staal but then there is the Skinner factor on that end too.

The only thing that makes this a tough one is the simple scoring format. Points only, no +/-, no pp, nothing else.
Don't drop E.Staal no matter what you decide here, he is gold for years. In most format's your choice here is easy, Hall. In this format I bring Semin up as a serious option.
Yes he is everyone's whipping boy coming into this season but look at his stat's once back from injury.
I keep Semin here. If your deadset on Hall vs Duchene I go Hall.
