Well this pretty much seals it for me as to who has a great chance. I stole this from some other hockey pool site, who got most of it from an Edmonton paper...



Encouraging words the other day from Oilers Coach Tom Renney for fans of Devan Dubnyk (of which I am one) as it sounds like the coach is ready to push Khabibulin out the door (via the Edmonton Journal):

"I certainly don’t expect Nikolai Khabibulin to play 70 games. I’m not sure he can play 60. I’m not sure he can play 50. That’s the great mystery here."

"I think this is a young fellow [Dubnyk] who is on the verge of being a National Hockey League starter. There’s no question about that."

"For me, it’s a perfect scenario at some point in time, whether it’s this year or the beginning of next year, sooner rather than later remains to be seen, but there is an opportunity for a changing of the guard."



I think if I have the chance to take Dubnyk for my 1st round IR pick I am going to take it.
