    Exclamation Goalie dilemma

Anyone have any insight into these two goalies?

    Tukka Rask
    Jonathan Quick

I need to protect one of them this year.
I wonder if Quick will lose more and more icetime with Bernier in the wings?
Will Rask be a starter in 2012-13?

Quick is the guy to go with if you want a true starting goalie for this season, I think he's going to get the bulk of the starts. Rask is a great prospect but there's no way he unseats TT the way he's playing

Quick will be the uncontested #1 guy in LA for this coming season (and maybe even beyond, I wonder if Bernier will be traded while his value is high). In the past, he has battled Bernier for the starting job and has won outright each time (thus the position he is in now).

Rask, while extremely talented in his own right, will not be the #1 guy in Boston this coming season...not with Thomas still in the mix. Rask will get his chance at some point in near future (season after next?).

Hands down, it has to be Quick.

Protect Quick. LA is definitely gearing up to make a push for the cup unless Quick absolutely craps the bed he will be their #1 IMO.

Rask is going to be at least a two year wait.

People were worried that Quick would lose playing time to Bernier last year, and it didn't happen. I think he's shown he is capable of being a true #1 goalie in the NHL and LA will go with him from here on out, unless he totally blows it at some point.

Keep Quick....65 or so starts, maybe 40 wins, the ratio stats are improving....Rask is a talented goalie, maybe even better than Quick, but he's 2 years away from starting at least.

Both will be good but quick's numbers are getting better and he is the undisputed number 1 where rask will have to wait a bit for thomas to move along. I would take quick forsure

Just for reassurance, here's another one for Quick.

As a Bernier owner - nothing would gladden my heart more - however, I am resigned to the fact it ain't happening anytime soon unless Quick has some bizarre meltdown. The odds of that don't look particularly good.
