Brodeur or Vokoun
Vokoun plays for the better team. Brodeur as stated on another thread is expected to rebound. Who would you rather have for next year only. My concern with Vokoun is Neuvirth I expect to get into a lot of games as well, just a hunch. What do you all think?
It would take a miracle, or an injury, for Vokoun not to succeed in Washington this year. I still think Vokoun's good for 60 starts. If he wasn't playing for Florida all these years, he would have cracked the top 5 keeper goalies to own for sure. He's a proven #1.
Either are solid picks though, but my vote is for Vokoun in a one year projection.
I'm a big Vokoun fan so I would likely take him here. You can say what ya want about Washington in the playoffs but they perform in the regular season and I don't see Vokoun struggling there.

The advice given is hit or miss really as we know none of your league settings. They are going to ride Vokoun this year as he is a proven elite talent. There is no way that Neuvirth steals starts from him. If you're lucky, Neuvirth who is kind of a bandaid boy goes down with an injury and Vokoun grabs more starts. Caps are a favourite over NJD who will have to reintroduce Parise as well as a new coach, so who knows what effect that will have on the team as a whole. If it were me, I'd be taking Vokie.

He desperately wants a cup and he will want his 4+ millions as of 2012-13, therefore he will need to perform up to expectations...
Brodeur should bounce back though, but I still predict better numbers coming from Vokoun.
