Hah, if someone told me before I read this that they dropped their iphone 13500 feet and it still worked I woulda called bs so fast.

I'm scared sh*tless whenever I drop my iphone outta my pocket. these things are seriously damn fragile I can't believe one survived that fall haha.

I have a Ballistic case and it works really well. It makes the phone a bit heavy in my pocket but if I drop it (even though I don't a whole lot) the phone is protected. Its a company that doesn't sell much of their stuff in stores but they have a bunch of videos on youtube where they test out the case on a real iPhone!

Wow I just googled Ballistic cases and they look like bullet proof vests for iphones LOL...

I cheaped out and got an 8 dollar bumper lol. probably serves me right if mine ends up breaking.

i have a droid x, but I had an iphone previously...I've had black silicon cases for both and never had a mishap and I drop my phone all the freakin time...basically you need something to cushion it and keeping the glass from meeting concrete and these seem to work for me

It's great I'm telling you, if you need a case and can afford it you should definitely get this one. No I don't have the pink one lol, its the black version. The other great thing about it is that the case doesn't cover up any of the buttons and protects them all. The only areas that are not protected are the "turn volume to vibrate/put sound on" as well as the adapter slot on the botton and the headphone jack.
