Price for Miller plus?

So, I have a GM in my pool who is a big Habs fan and has inquired about my Price multiple times. Without knowing the details of any particular trade offer, is there reason to even consider trading Price for Miller plus? I suspect he may be willing to overpay. I guess what I'm asking is how much better will Price be than Miller, now and in the future?

I don't think Price is better than Miller. Most Miller owners probalby won't trade for Price straight up. At best it's probably a wash since both will have similar stats and both are guaranteed starters. The only saving grace is Price is a lot younger than Miller and will be able to maintain his production longer. In your case, you might be able to leverage Price cause the other guy is a Habs fan and might over pay. See if he's willing to throw in a 2012 1st rd pick and sell him on the fact that both goalies are equal, but Price has a longer future.

I think so, yes. I do also think that you should try and get a bit more if he's such a big fan....if he's willing to overpay, make him do so!
