    Default Short Term V LT on Neuvirth Sitch

    WE keep 11 players
    Roto Cats (GA, SV%, Sos, Wins) for goalies;

    12 Fs, 6Ds, 3 Gs every night (yahoo)

    My team has left "rebuild mood" and is now in retooling mode;
    I will take RNH with the 1st overall pick.

    I have Neuvirth, but with the Vokoun signing, should I keep him?

    I have Bernier and Reimer as well.

    But I need a 3rd starting goalie for opening night.

    This deal royally screwed me!!!

    It is doubtful that I will compete (for the title) this season. So do I bite the bullet and just keep Neuvirth, and hope that Vokoun teaches him everything he knows?

    Or do I drop him and try and draft another starting goalie? take the chance I will never get Neuvirth again?

    Starting goalie on WSH for possibly a long time to come?

    Neuvirth is the last of those guys I would drop.. I think you'll be rewarded for patience with him.

    The other 2 goalies, in my mind, are more suspect than him. Bernier is firmly in the #2 spot after Quick's performance last year. He may need to be moved before he gets a chance.. a lengthy slump or injury to Quick are the only ways I see him seeing significant time. Kings could always work out a tandem, but as of now, #1 spot is Quick's to lose.

    And Reimer.. I wonder if now is a good time to sell high on him. He could be the real deal, but there are too many stories of goalies coming on the way he did only to sputter out soon after. Even if he puts in a solid showing, you may be able to dangle him to a Leafs fan and try and get them to overpay in a trade for him before the season begins.
