What do you all think of Joel Armia? much fantasy upside. Maybe playing with Laine?

I really like Armia a lot. He's an extremely smart, talented player, but I don't believe that will translate into big offensive numbers. I guess it depends on what you hope/expect from him. This will mark his first full season in the NHL, and I think something in the mid-30's for points this year would be a success. It seems like he'll be paired with Laine and Perreault early on. Perreaults a great player, but Laine looks a little lost out there right now, so I wouldn't expect this line to light it up any time soon. Long-term I could see Armia as a 40+ point, two-way player, who's a lot more effective in real life than in fantasy.

No idea. Hutch was the one with 3 starts in the pre-season, but it's hard to say if that means anything. I'd say it's a coin flip. Neither are the number one guy yet. One of them will have to earn it.

I think he'll get games, but he's far from a lock to play the full season. Looks like he's sitting tonight.

On that note, looks like Stuart is also sitting tonight, in place of Chiarot! Could it be that the Jets are finally cutting their absurd loyalty to Stuart, Thorburn AND Pavelec in one shot? Colour me pleased.

Well that sucks. i had to set my roster yesterday(weekly scoring) and rostered Andersen for the two starts this scoring period, FML! I would much rather gambled on Helle if i knew he was starting at least one of the two, especially against Carolina. ARGH!
