The team will certainly miss Enstrom. He is by far the best overall, and best defensive defensemen on the team. We really missed him last year when he went out with an injury. The Thrashers went 0-4-2 during the span from January 22nd - February 10th without Enstrom in the lineup. On Enstrom's return of February 11th (I clearly remember this game because I actually predicted this would be the date he'd return to the lineup), the Thrashers won 3-2 over the Rangers.

I have NHL Center Ice. I've had it ever since the lockout now, which is how I'm able to watch every game. I wanted to go to the game last Thursday, but I couldn't find a friend to go with. I'm gonna go to the one in January. I'm thinking about making a trip with a few friends out to Jersey to see the Jets and Devils. Even thinking about a trip out to New York.

The Jets have called up Festerling and Flood. I'd personally rather see Postma or Kulda up. They probably figure Postma is 'too offensive'... as if Festerling is any good defensively...

Enstrom will be out MUCH longer than 2-4 weeks. Broken collarbone.
Absolutely brutal news for the Jets (and my fantasy team!). How long do these things take to heal? Anyone have any idea?

I don't think it will be MUCH longer. Maybe 4-6 weeks now. The defense looks bad though without him in the lineup.
Pairings for tonight:
Jones-Byfuglien
Festerling-Bogosian
Oduya-Flood
Three regulars on defense are out of the lineup now...
